Lou Dobbs for creating a climate that in the last few years has produced a marked increase of hate crimes against Latinos. Dobbs rants on a regular basis against the invasion of “criminal aliens” bent on retaking the U.S. for Mexico. Conveniently, all of Dobbs’ aliens are brown and his favored “news” sources are white supremacist groups. Most recently Dobbs has joined the “birther” conspiracy movement. Nominated by Cross Border Network/MIRA and the ACLU—Immigrant Rights Project

Randall Stephenson, CEO AT&T for making $13.2 billion in profit in 2008 and over $10 billion in profits so far in 2009 and still feeling justified in shifting millions of dollars in health care costs onto the backs of AT&T employees and retirees.
Nominated by CWA Local 6360

James Kanatzar, Jackson County Prosecutor, for purposely delaying contract negotiations for Jackson County Assistant Prosecutors for several months. And this in spite of having been endorsed by organized labor, including Local 42, in his last election. Kanatzar also sought to strip already established core previsions from Local 42’s collective bargaining agreement. It has been over 15 months since Local 42 requested bargaining and almost a year since the prior contract expired. Nominated by IAFF Local 42

Rush Limbaugh for claiming he speaks for the people, when he only speaks for himself. He has done more to engender an atmosphere of fear, bigotry, racism and ignorance than any other this year. His message of self-serving hate reaches millions and must be stopped.
Nominated by Baptist Ministers Union, the Urban League of Greater Kansas City, and SEIU Local 1

Rep. Allen Icet, MO House Budget Chair for consistently opposing state employee pay raises and expansion of health care to the uninsured.
Nominated by CWA 6355/ Missouri State Workers Union

Sen. John Loudon, for spear-heading the “Save our Secret Ballot” (SOS) campaign in Missouri and is on the National SOS Board. If his ballot initiative were to be successful, the Employee Free Choice Act, should it pass, would not be implemented in Missouri. Nominated by Missouri AFL-CIO
