“Right to Work” Repeal is Heading to the Ballot!

In an effort to limit workers’ ability to form unions and have a voice in their workplace, Missouri Governor Eric Greitens signed a “Right to Work” law in February 2017. Workers and their allies quickly set to work collecting signatures on a petition to put this law to popular vote.

Workers & allies, including MO Jobs with Justice,  gathered thousands of signatures, helping “We Are Missouri” become the first ballot measure ever to qualify in every Congressional District in Missouri.  Our experienced ballot initiative staff and leaders helped train and equip union members across the state to understand and successfully implement the ballot referendum process and our community leaders helped bring the petition to the thousands of families outside of the labor movement who are ready to stand side by side with union members when we repeal Right to Work in 2018.
