Last night, after more than a year and a half since they voted for union representation, the hard-working men and women at Goodwill in Festus approved their first ever union contract by 87%!
We congratulate these workers on their hard-fought victory. We also thank the hundreds of supporters who contacted Goodwill CEO David Kutchback to demand that he recognize these workers coming together in union, bargain fairly, and quickly deliver the benefits these workers deserve.
In December 2020, Missouri Jobs with Justice and allies presented CEO Kutchback with “Scrooge of the Year” award for his union-busting efforts. More than one hundred MO JWJ activists contacted CEO Kutchback through email and social media – resulting in the official MO JWJ Voter Action Twitter page to be blocked by Goodwill.
We will continue to hold CEO Kutchback and all bosses and management who try to divide workers or keep us from coming together in union & collectively bargain for the rights and benefits we deserve.
