Starbucks workers at the Overland Park store are going ON STRIKE this Saturday, March 19th!
These Starbucks workers have already organized a majority at their store, filed for a union election, and will be receiving their ballots this weekend! In typical corporate fashion, Starbucks is trying to bust the union and divide workers.

These workers have been dealing with a disrespectful district manager who is trying to intimidate them and refuses to respect their right to organize. The workers are fired up to vote YES to form their UNION – and we’re fired up to join the picket line and show our support. Together, we were able to cancel an anti-union meeting at the Plaza store, now we need to show management in Overland Park that Kansas City is a UNION TOWN!

  • Who: Starbucks workers, Stand Up KC workers, faith, labor, civil rights, and community allies, the Poor People’s Campaign and YOU!
  • What: Starbucks workers ON STRIKE and picketing here in Overland Park!
  • When: Saturday, March 19th at 11:00 AM.
  • Where: at Starbucks – 10201 W. 75th St. Overland Park, KS – park across the street in the Metro PCS parking lot or another parking lot nearby.
  • Why: Because when workers’ rights are under attack, what do we do? STAND UP, FIGHT BACK!

Join us this Saturday, March 19th at 11:00 AM at the Starbucks at 10201 W. 75th St. Overland Park, KS 66204?

Be sure to wear red and/or your favorite pro-union, pro-worker, pro-justice gear to show solidarity with these workers.
